Okay, so if you are somehow shut off to the world, and didn't hear or experience the weather over the past weekend, you are one of the few. 20 inches of the winter while stuff fell here in Columbus between Friday morning at 9 AM and Saturday night at 4 PM. It was a mess. Most every business in the city closed including most churches on Sunday. We aren't even going to talk about the fact that the city plows are still working their way to some of the side streets 4 days later. In situations like this, all I want to do is sit by my fire with hot chocolate and not move until it's all clear, however...being a nurse does not allow this. I had to work my normal shifts this weekend as well as manditory overtime hours to cover for those who couldn't make it in. Super fun...but I survived. God has kept us safe, and is now working on melting the snow for us! Looking forward to spring even more than usual after the weekend!
So we took some pictures while we were out trying to clear a path for the car and our sidewalk. Enjoy!
