A Meyer Family Weekend Extravaganza!!!!

Bittersweet!! That's how I would describe the weekend!! It was a huge blessing to be togehter with all the family. Kate came home From Camp of the Woods, Grammy and Pop made the journey up from the other side of Pennsylvania. Grandma Meyer, Ted, and Carrie all came to join us one night for dinner. So...what was the occasion you ask... I guess you could call this weekend the transition weekend. Dear Kate is leaving for Italy for the semester... Abbey is off to Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Beth and Nick, Chip and I are of course returning to Columbus and The rest of the kids of the family are headed back to school for another year!!
The seperation is the bitter part...the new adventures that we are all about to make... is the sweet part. I am always excited to see how God works in all our lives, but I have a feeling that this season is going to be extra special. I have to say I am so excited for Kate and for Abbey as they are making the biggest changes...but I am also excited for Marina, who made the volleyball team, and Irina and Band.
And as we all visited together this weekend, I couldn't help but be blessed by Grammy and Pop, who at 80 and 81 years old have enough energy to kick us all. The Love they have for eachother, and for their family is forever apparent and we are all blessed to be part of their family. Mom and Dad are just as much a blessing to us all. They both work so hard to provide many great things for their family, and we can see the joy in their eyes just having their family home.
So...to the FAM.... you are all special and we Love you!!!!!!

PS: For those of you who understand the meyer family...everthing we do has a little bit of dramatic action...so...imagine the simple act of getting a family picture!!! I know....FUN...
